This was interesting to say the least. The kids liked it and it kept them quiet and patient while in the boat so long. They didn't care weather they caught something or not....,they just liked looking and watching. It must have got water in the unit you look thru as after the 1st use it had a black/brown streak running thru the middle (of course) of the viewfinder. That made it difficult to really see good after that. Waiting to see if it will dry out and be OK later on. Can't use it trolling or in any weedy area's as if it gets stuck in the weeds and you pull, you could tear off the camera part and then it would be ruined and you might as well throw it away. Good for kids still fishing...off the end of the dock or quiet waters. Cost is too high a price to pay to keep kids entertained. Adults won't care for it. Too short a pole and it makes a loud noise when being cranked up. Enough to scare the fish and wake the dead. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Wish I could return... Read more

this is more like a kids toy you get better result when looking into a fish tank not worth it limited visibility Don't buy it

Yes, it works, but only if the camera is still. So off a dock my be best. I was in canoe and the the uncontrollable movement made it difficult to see things. Cost was acceptable for this item, but I would not purchase it again. I wish I would have had the chance to test it out, I would have saved my money.

They may not be the same as higher priced crank baits but that is where you make use of them. I comb through areas I am unfamiliar with to get a sense of structures before I throw a more expensive lure. Not to mention i still catch fish on them.

These flies were a good deal. Even though the colors and flies were off for my area and I suspect most areas, and a few of flies were less than well tied. All and all I cant complain for the price. I used these to teach my cousin how to fly fish, because I didn't care if he snapped a few off. Some of the darker - adams -ish not really looking flies did work in area where the fish were biting at anything. So... All in all, these are good flies for either the times when when you are not expecting to catch any fish, or the times when you are catching too many fish. I actually took a few of these and tied on my own adams rabbit hair padding to make them look better. You could also use a fabric spray pain and hit a few of the orange ones with it... This is an impressive set for a newbie to start out with who doesn't know much about fly fishing.... I'm happy overall with the purchase - (But i also took some good flies with me on my trip)

There were a LOT of flies in this box, but they are poorly tied, unravel after one cast, and the patterns don't imitate any insect that I've ever seen on the river.
