I am not a very experienced Fly Fisher. I purchased the two box + 100 fly package thinking I would save a few bucks from buying the separate items, and I did, about $7 bucks. The bad thing was that the flies came in two round plastic containers. One for wet flies and one for dry flies. All jumbled together. The item description pics shows the flies mounted on cards with identification tags. Not so! I spent an afternoon separating and identifying them from reference books. Not an easy task.

I like the boxes. The spring activated compartments for larger flies are great. The only negative is that the box does not close snugly. I guess I will need to carry rubber bands.

The flies seem well made and comparable to those from BassPro. It is the packaging and box latch that knocks off a Star.
